The Best Cookies and Cream Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, room temperature
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup white sugar
  • 1 4.2 ounce package of instant Oreo pudding mix
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 ¼ cups all purpose flour
  • 1 7.37 ounce Giant Hershey’s Cookies and Cream candy bar
  • ½ cup milk chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350° and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 
  2. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl and set aside for later. 
  3. Cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until they become light and smooth. 
  4. Mix in the 4.2 ounce packet of instant Oreo pudding. 
  5. Beat in the eggs and vanilla, mix well. 
  6. Pour the flour mixture in gradually while stirring until the dough reaches a thick consistency.
  7. Cut the Cookies and Cream candy bar into small, bite-sized pieces.
  8. Add the candy pieces and chocolate chips into the mixture and stir until fully incorporated.
  9. Using a cookie dough scooper, place golf ball sized dough balls on a baking sheet about 3 inches apart. Finish them off with a few more chocolate chips on top for that special touch!
  10. Bake at 350° for 8 – 10 minutes or until edges are slightly golden. Let cookies cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet, then transfer to a wire rack. 
  11. Treat yourself to freshly baked cookies and a good read!
